The eVisa system is an online method of applying for visas from anywhere in the world.
Business Visa
This visa is for individuals who intend to visit Papua New Guinea for short-term business activities. Business activities which may be permitted (non-exhaustive list) include:
to carry out an official trade mission recognised by the Papua New Guinea government;
to sell goods and services in Papua New Guinea;
to buy Papua New Guinea goods and services;
to support a major infrastructure development project as approved by the government of Papua New Guinea;
to negotiate or discuss the set-up, expansion or wind-up of a business in Papua New Guinea; or
to carry out any business with the authorised representatives of an overseas company, body or person.
Papua New Guinea Business Visa Visa Criteria
Criteria
To be issued this visa you must show that you are a genuine business person or are engaging in approved employment, with the intention of leaving Papua New Guinea at the end of your stay.
valid for a single entry; and a period of stay approved by: the Papua New Guinea Office of the Prime Minister (PMO); and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Visitor Visa
Easy Visitor Permit Visitor (30 days)
This visa is for individual who intent to visit Papua New Guinea for holidays, sightseeing, social or recreational reasons,and to visit relatives and friends. This visa expressly prohibits the holder from engaging in paid work.
Easy Visitor Permit (60 days)
This visa is for eligible passport holders from countries listed on the Visa on Arrival schedule who intend to visit Papua New Guinea for reasons such as holidays, sightseeing, social or recreational reasons, to visit relatives and friends.
This visa expressly prohibits the holder from engaging in paid work.
Extension Of Stay
In limited situations an extension of stay may be permitted
Restricted - Restricted Employment Visa (REV)
This visa is intended for Individuals with specialist skills and technical expertise, which is not available in Papua New Guinea.
Validity
valid for a single entry; and a period of thirty (30) days from the date of arrival in Papua New Guinea.
Visa Conditions
This visa is limited to four (4) entries per calender year. Travel to restricted facilities in the country without the permission of the Chief Migration Officer is prohibited.
Extension Of Stay
No extension is allowed for this visa class
Change of status to another visa type is not permited
Special Exemption Visa Classes
This visa is for individuals who intend to visit Papua New Guinea to undertake activities sponsored or facilitated by the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) organisation. This visa expressly prohibits the holder from engaging in paid work.
Criteria
To be issued this visa you must show that you are a genuine visitor, sponsored by YWAM, with the intention of leaving Papua New Guinea at the end of your stay.
Validity
Valid for a period of stay up to 12 months from the day of first arrival in Papua New Guinea; and Allows the holder single entry to Papua New Guinea within the 12 month period
